We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Governance Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team, where they will support enterprise data governance initiatives and maintain the integrity of data glossary and metadata assets. Responsibilities: • Assist in maintaining and updating the enterprise business glossary, ensuring terminology completeness, accuracy, and alignment across Finance, Operations, and GTM domains. • Collaborate with business domain owners and data stakeholders to collect, validate, and standardize business terms. • Coordinate resolution of cross-domain terminology ambiguities and ensure documentation of decisions. • Support the organization and usability of governance platforms, including SharePoint, Power Pages, or other tools used to manage terminology and metadata. • Help develop and maintain a Data Governance visibility hub to increase awareness and engagement across the organization. • Partner with BI and Data Engineering teams to align business terms with technical metadata and data lineage efforts. • Participate in data governance training and assist in promoting data stewardship best practices. Qualifications: Required: • Entry-level to 2 years of experience in data governance, data analysis, business analysis, or related fields. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning. Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field preferred. • Familiarity with data governance concepts, metadata management, and business glossaries is a plus. • Experience with SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Pages, or similar collaboration platforms is desirable.
