Location: Bluffton, SC
A premier, high-end dental practice in Bluffton, SC is seeking a highly skilled Full-Arch CAD/CAM Designer and Digital Removable Technician to join their in-house laboratory team. This is a unique opportunity for a technician with expertise in both digital design and ceramic finishing to contribute to complex, aesthetic-driven restorations in a fully fee-for-service environment.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in both the design and finishing phases of high-quality full-arch prosthetics. Ideal candidates will have experience with full-arch implant restorations (All-on-X), aesthetic smile design cases, and be comfortable collaborating with clinical and lab teams. This role offers significant growth potential as our in-house lab expands across multiple practice locations.
Key Responsibilities: Design full-arch implant restorations, including All-on-X cases, as well as crowns, bridges, veneers, and abutments using Exocad or 3Shape Execute the final finishing and layering of ceramic restorations to meet high esthetic standards Collaborate with prosthodontists, surgeons, and lab technicians to plan and complete complex restorative and aesthetic cases Manage digital workflows from intraoral scans through final prosthetic delivery Operate and maintain in-house 3D printing and milling systems, including calibration, material management, and routine maintenance Maintain and optimize software and hardware systems Participate in treatment planning meetings and contribute to lab process improvements
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in dental CAD/CAM design and ceramic finishing Proficiency with Exocad or 3Shape design software Strong experience with aesthetic restorations and full-arch implant workflows Hands-on experience with dental lab equipment including mills and 3D printers Deep understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and smile design High attention to detail, excellent hand skills, and commitment to precision Strong interpersonal and communication skills Portfolio required - please be prepared to present work samples if contacted for an interview
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $80,000-$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience Full benefits package including: Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Continuing education opportunities
