Position Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced machinist who can program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components to exact specifications. Key Responsibilities Program CNC lathes using Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar software. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings. Select tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient and accurate machining. Set up and operate CNC lathes to perform precise turning, facing, threading, and other operations. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications 3+ years of experience programming and operating CNC lathes (Okuma, Mazak, or similar preferred). Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools. Strong understanding of metal cutting principles, tooling, and feeds & speeds. Experience with aerospace or tight-tolerance parts is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
