Business Development Director – Staffing (Hybrid – Vancouver, WA - Portland area OR Boise, ID) Base + Uncapped Commission | $100K–$120K+ DOE Our client, a growing staffing firm, is seeking a Director of Business Development to spearhead market expansion efforts in the engineering, IT, and professional sectors. This leadership position is ideal for a proven deal-closer with substantial experience in staffing sales, team management, and strategic client engagement, including selling Statements of Work (SOW) and custom workforce solutions. Location:
Hybrid role based in Vancouver, WA (preferred - closer to Portland) or Boise, ID Compensation : Base salary + uncapped commission (OTE $100K–$120K+ depending on experience) Perks:

What You'll Do Drive new business development and client acquisition for contract and direct hire staffing solutions. Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (HR, procurement, execs). Identify new markets and develop strategies to increase market share. Collaborate cross-functionally on proposals, RFPs, and sales strategy. Represent the company at networking events, both in-person and virtual. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of successful sales/business development experience in the staffing industry. 3+ years of experience selling both contract and direct-hire staffing solutions. 2+ years in team management (including hiring, coaching, and performance management). Strong knowledge of MSPs, VMS, and strategic sales techniques (RFP process/negotiation). Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
