Job Description
In this position, the resident STA Engineer position requires on-site support on weekdays at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant. The focus is on driving quality performance improvement of external suppliers that ship commodities directly for the Mustang vehicle line production. Key metrics include Warranty R/1000, Warranty CPU, and QR (Quality Reject) Rate performance that drive supplier 8D action plans linked to BSAQ system tracking. Quality control skill-set required with strong communication and report-out experience in a manufacturing environment.
