Business Analyst . Detailed Job Description
Designing and implementing functional configuration solutions involving data model, user interface, GX Models, scripting, and business rules (10%). Identify reusable frameworks across multiple projects and build prototypes to fill gaps. Design and implement integrations to downstream systems using Guidewire Event messaging. Provide subject matter expertise in Guidewire Policy Center and Billing Center. Implement custom portal solutions utilizing Mulesoft, Spring Boot, MongoDB, AngularJS, etc. Manage client expectations, oversee onsite and offshore resources, plan and guide the team (60%). Implement integration changes and coordinate with downstream systems. Manage source code using Subversion and GIT. Ensure development standards are followed and documented. Provide workarounds for issues faced by business users until defects are fixed. Assist the business team during acceptance testing. Inform business analysts about business impacts or improvements with new solutions (20%). Lead requirements gathering, demonstrate product functionality, and identify customizations. Identify gaps with out-of-the-box functionality and assess change complexity. Work with client SMEs to validate functionality and prioritize requirements. Supervise, train, and mentor junior programmers (10%). Coordinate work activities and review programming tasks. Participate in deployment activities to ensure successful implementation.
