Position: Appliance Repair Technician Monday - Friday

Are you a skilled problem-solver who thrives in an active work environment? Our Appliance Repair Technicians are responsible for performing mechanical repairs on washers and dryers at customer locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our machines operate seamlessly to meet customer expectations. If you love working independently and possess strong mechanical skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances such as washing machines and dryers. Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards in all repairs.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and preventative services to ensure appliances run efficiently and last longer, including cleaning, replacing worn-out parts, and adjusting settings.
• Customer Service: Engage with customers professionally, addressing their concerns and providing clear information about repairs and maintenance. Offer helpful advice on appliance care to prevent future issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Prepare detailed service reports and update our internal database.
• Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts and tool inventory. Order necessary items to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols while working with appliances and ensure the safety of both yourself and the customer's property.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
• Preferred experience in appliance repair or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Physical stamina to handle heavy appliances
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
