Travel **Job Title: Multi-Modality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)**
**Shift:** 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM **Location:** Brevard, NC **Unit:** Radiology Department
**Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Modality Technologist with expertise in both CT (Computed Tomography) and X-Ray procedures. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and considerate team player, capable of working independently as needed while demonstrating compassion towards patients and co-workers.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a wide variety of CT procedures (excluding cardiac), including CT guided biopsies. - Conduct full-range Trauma Radiology, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm cases. - Operate all types of GE digital radiology equipment, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. - Collaborate effectively with other staff members in a fast-paced environment. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** - R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) certification. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- **Experience:** - Demonstrated experience performing routine CT and CTA exams. - Proficiency with GE x-ray units and CT scanners is essential.
- **Preferred Skills:** - Prior experience with Radiology travel assignments. - Familiarity with Cerner and Philips PACS software applications is a plus.
**Work Environment:** - The Radiology Department includes 1 CT room, 1 Trauma x-ray room, 1 Fluoroscopy/x-ray room, and 2 portable imaging setups. - The department is staffed by a dedicated team of 22 members, including Lead Technologists and Multi-Modality Technologists.
**Personal Attributes:** - Must exhibit a compassionate and considerate attitude towards patients and team members. - Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Dress Code:** Navy Blue Scrubs
**Contract Details:** - This position is a contractor replacement role with guaranteed hours over a contract duration of 91 weeks.
