Cvor Tech 2
The CVOR Tech 2 under the supervision of the Director and/or Clinical Coordinator is responsible for preparing supplies and equipment for interventions using appropriate techniques. S/he provides technical services as assigned and directed and assists with procedures. The CVOR Tech 2 assists and/or performs patient procedures that are within the scope of their unit specific Skills Summation. S/he seeks assistance and support when necessary assists in data collection organizes those aspects of patient care for which s/he is responsible and maintains accountability for own practice and those functions delegated to the Technician. Within a specified work period s/he provides care that is consistent with overall admission to post-discharge plan. S/he practices within accepted ethical and legal parameters. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED - Required Completion of OR Technician program - Required Certification and Licensure: BLS - Required Employee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by their departmental leader.
