Job Summary:
The role involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated electronic equipment. This includes working with both discrete components and integrated circuits, and ensuring stringent quality control.
Key Responsibilities: Operate advanced test equipment such as network analyzers and oscilloscopes, and analyze test data. Develop and set up test apparatus or design custom test equipment and circuitry to evaluate product performance and reliability. Conduct thorough testing, modification, repair, and calibration of electronic components, utilizing deep knowledge in electronics, electrical circuitry, and engineering principles. Document test processes and results, supporting engineering teams with detailed reports and data recording. Maintain quality control through meticulous documentation and adherence to procedures. Use Microsoft Office for reporting and preparing detailed estimates for customer repairs. Install electronic components and assemblies, following precise CAD and schematic diagrams. Skills and Qualifications:
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in electronic assembly and soldering. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual and CAD software for code interpretation and schematic reading is a plus. Experience with RF concepts and A2LA accreditation is desirable. Education and Experience:
A two-year degree or vocational training in electronics is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required. Physical Requirements:
The role requires frequent sitting, handling, and fine manipulation with the hands, and occasional lifting of up to 45 pounds. Must have good visual acuity for detailed work.
