The High's Car Wash Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the car wash location(s), including service management, preventative maintenance, and project coordination/development to ensure goals of uniformity, efficiency, and profitability are achieved. Leadership, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on team player approach are required. This role is based at our Owings Mills, MD, High's Store.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing relationships and project performance with vendors and/or subcontractors.
• Coordinate and execute promotional efforts for multiple car wash locations ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for quality controls per site, assessing each one's profitability by documenting factors that add or detract from value creation; provide solutions where applicable.
• Establish, perform, and manage preventative maintenance schedules and scope of work for car wash site(s); conduct quality, safety, and performance assessments and solutions.
• Support Carroll Clean Car Wash Member Program and grow membership base.
• Train staff and/or team members regarding operations and functionality of the car wash.
• Oversee project execution concerning customer satisfaction, schedules, quality, and risk.
• Prioritize multiple projects effectively, meet deadlines, and work within business units at any level, seeking opportunities for efficiency and providing backup support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in the car wash industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook & Word; training provided if needed. Must become an adept user.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated, proactive, disciplined, fast learner, with attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• Convenience store with Car Wash environment.
• Exposure to petroleum and wash chemicals.
• Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather, if needed.
• Ability to travel, if needed.
