License: Must have either RCIS certification or ARRT certification with state license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota. General skills: Scrub, monitor, EKG. Cardiac Cath Lab procedure experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, Rotablader. EKG settings and experience: Obtaining vitals, outpatient, 12-lead EKG, rhythm interpretation. Electrophysiology procedure experience: Cardioversion. Description: Profession: Cath Lab Tech. Tech must have either RCIS or ARRT. If ARRT, traveler must have state license as well. Call: 2-3 call shifts per week with 1-2 call weekends in a 6-week cycle. Our Cath Lab consists of 4 labs. We run Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. We perform an array of procedures including coronary angiograms/PCIs, Chronic Total Occlusions (CTOs), Peripherals, Electrophysiology Studies (EPS) with possible ablations, Pacemakers, BIVs, TAVRs, Mitraclips, Watchman/Amulet, Mitral valves. Daily caseload: 25-30 cases, with 4 labs available. Scrubs are provided. Additional preferences include circulating, IV starting, phlebotomy, Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, Pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, Pacemakers, sinus node rhythms, Pacemaker insertion. The flu vaccine is required during flu season. If requesting a religious or medical flu exemption, compliant documentation must be provided. COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons only. Travelers must keep requests for time off to a minimum. Expect to work some holidays. Number of months of EPIC experience in the past year will be evaluated. Proof of licenses is required. Travelers must have an active state license on hand at the time of submission. Travelers with pending licenses may be rejected. Floating, if required, shall be in rotation with client staff, in accordance with policies and standards. Modules required during orientation are not billable and will vary based on specialty.
