Flexibility to match your scheduling needs.The Echocardiograph Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to the physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo-guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo-guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast-enhanced exams, exercise, and pharmacological stress echocardiography. Has the ability to modify procedures, to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.This position requires shared coverage for standby and call-back emergency studies in the evenings and weekends.
