Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking an
Access Center Representative/Scheduler
to work full time (Mon – Fri, 8AM-4:30PM) in our Access Center answering calls from referring providers and patients. Scheduler will spend time scheduling appointments, answering general questions, and providing information to referring providers and patients. Will also respond to patient inquiries received via the patient portal and will enter and update patient information in the practice management system.
Requirements:
The successful individual will adhere to a high level of customer service and will work to enhance PCI’s reputation by accepting ownership for increasing patient and referring provider access to PCI’s providers.
Must be able to work well as a team member and independently as well as possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Leading candidate will have basic to intermediate computer skills and/or ability to become proficient in the use of computers and software applications.
The leading candidate will have two to three years of experience in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology.
Must be a service focused, detail-oriented individual with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
