This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (40hrs/week) Pay Range: $22- $27.20 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume Responsibilities Collect and process blood specimens from patients using venipuncture techniques while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Record and maintain accurate data entries for each specimen collected. Monitor and document vital signs as required. Provide exceptional patient service, particularly to geriatric patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure proper handling and transportation of specimens. Stay updated on medical terminology and laboratory procedures to enhance patient care. Job Requirements: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. *Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. * Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED. One (+) year phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
