Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs),
or
Paramedics
to join our Emergency Department/Urgent Care team. These roles are essential to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Each position works collaboratively with physicians, advance practice providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure timely and effective care for patients with urgent and emergent needs.
Position Responsibilities (may vary slightly by role):
LPN
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and providers Functions within the scope of LPN practice Performs a head-to-toe assessment, under the supervision of a RN, on all patients and reassessments as per policy Administer medications and injections as directed Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions Assist with procedures and emergency interventions Support discharge planning and patient education
CMA
Perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and collecting specimens Assist providers with examinations and procedures Document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) Provide patient instructions and support follow-up care Maintain clean and well-stocked exam rooms
Paramedic
Deliver advanced pre-hospital care within scope in the clinical setting Assist with triage, wound care, splinting, and emergency interventions Monitor patients and perform EKGs, IV starts, and medication administration per protocol Support emergency response efforts within the facility Collaborate with nursing and provider teams on patient care
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted LPN, CMA, or Paramedic license/certification in the state of Wisconsin Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred for Paramedics) Prior experience in emergency or urgent care setting preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
