INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT I:
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED:
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Must be 18 years of age.
•Experience in childcare.
•Successful completion of the forty (40) hour DCF Child Care Training Course, or equivalent alternate
training in education and/or child-care by starting within 90 days of employment; childcare personnel
shall begin training to meet the state training requirements and shall complete such training within 1
year of the date on which the training began.
•Other regulations as required by Consumer Health to maintain compliance with the law.
INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT II:
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED:
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Must be 18 years of age.
•Experience in childcare.
•Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or other credential recognized by the Florida,
Department of Children & Families.
•Other regulations as required by Consumer Health to maintain compliance with the law.
INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT I & II:
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED:
•Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
•Valid Florida Driver• s license.
