Job Description

Solairus Aviation is currently searching for a Full-Time Challenger 604 / CJ3 Captain to join an operation at the KSAT airport. The ideal candidate will need to be a standout colleague while seeking excellence in every aspect of his/her performance. • Responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 604 / CJ3 aircraft.
• Responsible for conducting flights safely and prudently, including:
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Conducting proper pre-flight inspections according to the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Checking weather and facilities along the route and at airports, including alternates.
• Ensuring flights comply with Solairus policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensuring safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
• Completing all trip paperwork accurately according to procedures.
• Minimum experience requirements include:
• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• PIC: 1500 hours
• MEL: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument hours: 250 hours
• Type rated on Challenger 604, CJ3, or comparable aircraft.
• First class medical certification required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Willingness to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive from KSAT or willingness to relocate.

Solairus offers a salary range based on market conditions, experience, and other factors, from $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
