Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
position, we expect you to: Design, implement, optimize, and support complex Citrix-based infrastructure Provide remote and on-site administration and maintenance of customer Citrix infrastructure Deploy and manage Citrix and Microsoft VDI environments, ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems Install and configure Microsoft AVD technologies, including host pools, AVD images, and scaling Manage Azure Active Directory for AVD-related systems Investigate and resolve issues, escalate cases when necessary Perform updates, patches, and upgrades to VDI infrastructure regularly Generate reports on VDI performance, usage, and issues for management Your experience, skills, and qualifications will help you succeed in this role. University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline 3+ years of proven experience in Citrix & Microsoft VDI environments Familiarity with Cloud concepts Highly preferred knowledge in: Microsoft Server & Client Operating Systems Implementation of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Cloud Service Building and troubleshooting MS Supporting Services (DFS, DHCP, CA, IIS) Active Directory & GPOs in large environments Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, VB) Microsoft HyperV, VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor (XenServer) Deep knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop solutions: Gathering business requirements and deployment of AVD Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills with various stakeholders Excellent command of English (verbal & written) Willingness to travel abroad (mainly EU, about 5% of the time) What we offer our UniQue IT People: People-first environment encouraging idea sharing Work-life balance with hybrid work model Continuous training and development opportunities Participation in innovation initiatives Meal vouchers (ticket restaurant) Corporate laptop and equipment Mobile phone subscription Health and insurance plans for you and your family Employee support services by Ergonomia Discounts on Group services and products Gift vouchers for milestones Special summer Fridays and birthday schedules Our UniQue IT team is our most valuable asset.
