This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex automation challenges across industrial facilities such as pipeline stations, truck racks, and tank farms.nYou’ll work on a variety of high-visibility projects from concept through commissioning—taking full ownership of controls design, programming, documentation, and field support.nWhy You’ll Love ItnnMid-sized team with tight-knit culture and zero bureaucracynWork with respected clients in the energy space (including major names)nOpportunity for direct hire with remote flexibility on M/F upon FTE conversionnStable and growing project pipeline — this position is approved and actively hiringnnWhat You’ll DonnIndependently lead automation projects from concept through commissioning.nDesign and implement advanced PLC & HMI/SCADA systems:nnPLC Mastery in at least 4 platforms (must include RSLogix5000 & GE Proficy)nHMI/SCADA Mastery in at least 4 platforms (must include FactoryTalk View & Proficy iFIX)nnDevelop complete project documentation, including:nnI/O Lists, Data Maps, Functional Specs, Test PlansnControl Architecture DiagramsnOperations & Maintenance (O&M) ManualsnLead or support system startups, cutovers, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.nInterpret and integrate electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings for automation applications.nProvide mentoring and quality reviews for junior engineers.nMaintain expert-level understanding of hazardous area classifications and relevant design standards.nWhat You BringnnB.S. in Electrical Engineeringn~ 10+ years of experience in automation/control systems for industrial facilitiesnStrong expertise in:nn49 CFR 195 – All SubpartsnAPI 1165, API RP 500, API MPMSnnField experience with:nnValve types, actuators, and troubleshooting of wiring & limit switchesnSystems for pipeline pump stations, tank farms, loading/unloading racksnAbility to lead projects, manage scope/schedule, and serve as a subject matter expertnBonus PointsnnPE LicensenExperience working with major oil & gas operators or EPC firmsnnApply today to take the next step in your automation career and make an impact on critical infrastructure projects.nFeel free to also contact Mollie Karns directly at | 678-335-6114
