Designer/Cad Drafter
We are hiring a Designer/CAD Drafter at the Stewart's Shops Corporate Office in Ballston Spa. This job includes both building & site design as well as on-site project management. Responsibilities
Taking detailed "as-built" measurements to construct and recreate interior built environments. Conversion of as built drawing into Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Revit software and manipulation of the digitized format. Ability to work with co-workers at both design and shop level to ensure necessary details included in plan revision. Refining deliverables through iterative process and listening to stakeholder comments and guidance. Ability to manage your time for project delivery while simultaneously having responsibility inside the office and in the field. Requirements
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years related drafting experience. Solid conceptual & design process skills. FE/RA credential preferred. Civil 3D -SWPPP experience preferred. Beam design knowledge a plus. Must be organized, self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced office setting. High attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. We Offer
Starting Pay: $28-$32/hour. 100% company paid retirement- Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Health, Vision & Dental benefit package. Monday - Friday, 8:00am
