Senior Civil Designer – Land Development & Infrastructure Projects (Daphne, AL Area)
Contract-to-Direct Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced
Senior Civil Designer
with a strong background in
land development, infrastructure, and transportation projects . The position is located near
Daphne, AL
and offers a contract-to-direct pathway with long-term career potential. Job Responsibilities: Assist in civil engineering design and analysis for infrastructure projects such as roadways, drainage systems, and site development.
Prepare design reports, construction drawings, and calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
Support the creation of realistic renderings using Autodesk 3ds Max.
Conduct site visits and inspections to collect data and monitor design implementation.
Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as
PondPack ,
StormCAD , and/or
ICPR4 .
Perform feasibility studies and assist in preparing cost estimates and project documentation.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
Must be able to pass a CAD test as part of the evaluation process.
Requirements: 7+ years of civil design experience, with an emphasis on land development and infrastructure.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and
Civil 3D
is required.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic software such as
PondPack ,
StormCAD , and/or
ICPR4
is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with 3D rendering using
Autodesk 3ds Max
is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Information: Location:
Fairhope, AL (Onsite only)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range (Contract):
$25 – $34/hour (plus OT at 1.5x rate)
Direct Hire Salary Range:
$65,000 – $70,000 annually
Term:
6-month temp-to-perm (open to direct hire)
Background Check:
7-year background check required
