Education Qualifications Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant program. Graduate of an approved LPN program or medical assistant (MA) program. Licensure/Certification Qualifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the appropriate state (e.g., Minnesota, Wisconsin) OR current registration or certification as a medical assistant OR verifiable completion of a medical assistant program, with certification required within one year of hire (must pass certification within two attempts). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
