Pay Rate: $62 / hour W2 Shifts Available 7am-7pm Qualifications: Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Ambulatory Surgery Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology CPR card issued by the American Heart Association Must have up to date certification in the state of NY Responsibilities Prepare patients for same-day surgical procedures Perform pre-operative assessments and check vital signs Start IV lines and administer pre-op medications Assist surgeons and anesthesia team during procedures Monitor patients in the recovery area (PACU) Manage pain control and watch for post-op complications Educate patients and families about discharge instructions Ensure proper documentation of care provided Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment Coordinate with the surgical team and other departments If interested, please apply through this job post.
