Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing operational, administrative, financial, and strategic activities within the Pulmonary/Renal department. You will collaborate closely with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Mentoring and supporting professional caregivers to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Facilitating patient access, communication, and smooth transitions during the acute care stay.
• Providing visible leadership during your primary shift, ensuring that competent and compassionate care is consistently provided.
• Collaborating with other service and department leaders to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and programs aligned with the hospital's mission.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; an MSN or comparable advanced degree is preferred.
2. Must possess a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
3. Management experience is strongly preferred.
