Join to apply for the Cloud Engineer/Principal Cloud Engineer (AHT) - R10195058 role at Northrop Grumman Job Overview Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the DAF CLOUDworks program at NASIC, Wright Patterson AFB. This role involves maintaining and enhancing cloud capabilities, supporting a secure cloud environment, and working closely with multiple teams to implement new features and improve efficiency. The position requires on-site support for mission-critical operations. Basic Qualifications for Cloud Engineer Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering with 2 years of experience, or Master’s with no experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) within 60 days Knowledge of infrastructure components, including network, storage, Linux/Windows, and security Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or DevSecOps Basic Qualifications for Principal Cloud Engineer Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or high school diploma with 9 years U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 60 days Same technical knowledge and experience as Cloud Engineer Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) Experience with VMware Tanzu, Rancher, or similar architectures Scripting skills in Python or Bash Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines and git (ArgoCD, Flux, Gitlab) Knowledge of cloud networking security (ACL, Security Groups, WAF) Experience in cloud adoption, data migration, and environment prototyping Knowledge of account management solutions (RBAC, AWS IAM, Azure AD) Additional Information Salary ranges from $81,300 to $150,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
