VetsEZ VetsEZ is seeking a skilled AWS Developer to design, develop, and manage cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS services, cloud computing, and DevOps practices to build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and solutions on AWS. Utilize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, and others for application development. Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Ensure security best practices in AWS, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance. Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance using AWS CloudWatch and logging tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions. Stay updated with AWS best practices, new features, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an AWS Developer or Cloud Engineer. Strong proficiency in AWS services, cloud computing, and architecture. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in AWS environments. Experience in designing and managing relational and NoSQL databases in AWS (RDS, DynamoDB). Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Experience with machine learning, big data, or IoT services in AWS. Knowledge of multi-cloud strategies and hybrid cloud architecture. Experience building functions in Python. Experience with REST APIs. Experience with integrations with SaaS products, such as Pega, Service Now, or Jira.
