Are you a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Architect passionate about designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions? Do you thrive in dynamic, mission-critical environments? We're looking for an experienced and solutions-oriented architect to join our team, supporting vital projects in national security. In this role, you'll blend your deep expertise in cloud platforms, systems engineering, and DevOps practices. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. A strong foundation in AWS, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. We're looking for someone who can lead cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional results in fast-paced, hybrid-cloud environments. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you'll be a key player on a long-term, multi-year contract, providing crucial systems engineering and integration support across a diverse portfolio of projects for our customer. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions: You'll architect, develop, and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, but also within hybrid-cloud environments. Leading infrastructure automation: You'll drive the adoption and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles, leveraging tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources. Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines: You'll establish and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline software deployment and infrastructure updates. Providing technical leadership: You'll guide and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture, security, and operations are followed. Collaborating with stakeholders: You'll work closely with customers, engineers, and project managers to understand requirements, define technical strategies, and deliver solutions that meet mission-critical needs. Ensuring security and compliance: You'll design and implement solutions that adhere to stringent security standards and regulatory compliance requirements, particularly in government environments. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: You'll diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability. Driving innovation: You'll stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance our capabilities. Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA Currently hold a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Poly 10+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure architecture. Proven leadership in technical projects across multiple organizations and agencies. Expertise in AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, WorkSpaces, Snowball). Strong development background in Python (Boto3), Bash, PowerShell, .NET (C#), T-SQL. Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform, GitLab CI, Puppet, Ansible). AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate and Professional). Red Hat Certified Engineer; experience with RHEL, CentOS, SuSE, and Solaris preferred. M.S. in Systems Engineering, Computer Science and B.S. in Business or Technical field. Certified Scrum Master and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
