Scope of work
The Collibra Developer will support metadata management capabilities in Collibra with a focus on work prioritized by the semantic team. This includes integrating Collibra with key platforms, configuring metadata asset types and/or fields, enabling lineage tracking, and supporting proof-of-concept efforts for data modeling. The developer will work closely with the MDM and semantic teams to improve metadata flow and visibility across systems.
The Collibra Developer’s work will depend on road mapping and prioritization, but some likely sample tasks are below.
Tasks
1. Integration with Graphite Develop and implement integration between Collibra and Graphite (taxonomy system). Synchronize selected taxonomies into configured fields in Collibra. 2. Topic field configuration
Configure and deploy the topic taxonomy in Collibra from dev to production. Represent taxonomy hierarchies in selection dropdowns. 3. Configure metadata fields prioritized in Navicet pilot
Work with the metadata team to configure new fields identified as valuable during the Navicet pilot. 4. Configure end-to-end lineage
Implement and validate lineage capture from Databricks to Collibra to Tableau. Ensure end-to-end traceability of data transformations and pipelines. 5. Support for physical/logical model POC
Collaborate with the Collibra product team to support a proof of concept of a new data model in Collibra. Deliverables

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ 145000 - 160000 per annum. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
