The Department of Defense (DoD) is implementing a strategic shift toward fully integrated, multidomain operations (MDO) to maintain decision superiority, operational agility, and technological overmatch in contested environments. To this end, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) contract seeks to advance technologies and modernize capabilities to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration. COBRA provides a broad range of services for the advancement of integrated communications, networking, and SoS technologies within the DoD and its interagency mission partner. One of the programs supported by COBRA is the U.S. Marine Corps Executive Communications Program and Senior Leader Communications System (HQMC Comms). HQMC Comms is the technical executive arm of the Presidential Policy Directive 40 requirements supporting Marine Corps and Naval Senior Leaders. This work and associated efforts facilitate capabilities that keep those designated individuals engaged with C5ISR capabilities to keep the nation ready for the next challenge. CACI is seeking an experienced professional to join our team supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Executive Communications Program and Senior Leader Communications System. This role will focus on developing and implementing advanced modeling, simulation, and wargaming solutions to enhance strategic decision-making and communications capabilities for USMC senior leadership. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute complex modeling and simulation scenarios to support USMC executive decision-making processes Create and manage wargaming exercises that test and evaluate communications systems and protocols for senior leaders Analyze simulation and wargaming results to provide actionable insights for improving executive communications Collaborate with USMC leadership to identify critical communication challenges and develop innovative solutions Integrate cutting-edge technologies into existing simulation and wargaming frameworks Prepare and present detailed reports and briefings to senior military officials Ensure all simulations and wargames align with USMC doctrine, policies, and strategic objectives Mentor junior staff in modeling, simulation, and wargaming techniques Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field 10+ years of experience in military modeling, simulation, and wargaming Extensive knowledge of USMC organizational structure and communications systems Proficiency in simulation software and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Active Top Secret clearance Desired: Master's degree in a relevant field Experience with USMC Executive Communications Program Knowledge of Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) Familiarity with emerging technologies in military communications Prior military service, preferably in the USMC This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the effectiveness of USMC senior leadership communications and decision-making capabilities.
