For this role, we will only consider applicants with a demonstrated record of mastery setting and executing strategy across complex family law matters including, but not limited to: Complex assets, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect, high-conflict, mental illness, and domestic violence. We want to see a track record of clear and proactive communication, strategic flexibility as circumstances change, and stellar time management to prevent unnecessary stress on clients and the legal support team. For the right candidate, we are open to both hybrid and remote work. There are many benefits to this role: We offer customizable base and bonus compensation structures depending upon the weekly workload, billable rate, and capacity of each attorney. Since we’re only hiring highly skilled professionals, we offer amazing hybrid and remote work opportunities. You will not be alone, you will not only have a trained and experienced paralegal to assist you, but you will also have a strong mentor to develop your skills and business. Job Responsibilities: Develop case strategy and planning with the client, obtain discovery, make disclosures, and ultimately either represent the client in mediation or present the case in court. Draft pleading, motions, correspondences, and other written documents to further the case towards final resolution. Conduct discovery, which may include depositions, property inspections, asset evaluations, medical records, child welfare reports, or any other discovery tool available to effectively advocate for the client and the best interests of the party. Document time contemporaneously and ensure billing notes are accurate and meaningful for clients. Supervise legal support team effectively through clear direction, ongoing feedback, supportive style, and personal accountability for final work product. You will be actively involved in the community and will work with the Castle Law team to grow your practice and your reputation within the local legal community to grow your business. Qualifications Must be licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar Association. Significant record of successful involving complex in Arizona family law. You must be able to handle stress without allowing the stress to negatively impact your ability to effectively advocate for your client or work with your team. Pay: Total Compensation: $200,000 for the right candidate in the first year, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance and demonstrated value. Hybrid/Remote work environment Ongoing mentoring through firm owner with networking access 100% of medical, vision, dental insurance for attorney 5 days PTO, 5 days sick leave, along with the 13 federal holidays CLE reimbursement annually Skilled legal support team to assist you 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Vision insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off Seniority level
