SUMMARY
The System Administrator installs, configures, and supports an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word-processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing network systems, such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Performs maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. SITEC seeks candidates with significant deployment and configuration support for VMWARE and ESXi (vSphere) Enterprise, CISCO switches, SAN, and Windows server. Must have experience with networking and Linux. Must have knowledge of networking principles, theories, and concepts and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative principles and concepts. Must have current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
Interim TS to start is preferred.
REQUIRED:
4+ years of Linux Software development environment Atlassian tools ADDITIONAL
Windows Server VMware/vSphere Enterprise SAN Networking STIGs ACAS JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant subject matter. An additional six (6) years of relevant System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. An additional four (4) years of relevant System Administrator experience may be substituted for an associate degree. Certifications Required:
An Operating System Certification in Windows or Linux is required. CompTIA Security+ or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification is required
