As a
Health & Safety Manager , you will help champion and uphold our commitment to a safe and healthy work environment for every employee, every day. You'll support and help strengthen our company-wide Health & Safety programs, ensuring that safety remains at the forefront of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage our Corporate Health & Safety Plan (HASP) to ensure compliance and best practices. Develop, review, and approve site-specific HASPs and Job Hazard/Safety Analyses. Serve as an active member of our State-Certified Safety Committee. Mentor and provide oversight for our Safety Liaison Program. Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses, and identify root causes to prevent recurrence. Conduct regular field audits to monitor health and safety compliance. Review project work orders and hazard analyses to ensure appropriate controls are in place. Deliver engaging Health & Safety training, including OSHA and industry-specific programs. Lead OSHA 40-hour and refresher training in line with CFR 1910.120. Provide OSHA Confined Space Entry Training per CFR 1910.146. Support the management of third-party compliance programs (e.g., ISNET, Avetta, Veriforce, Highwire). Assist with Workers' Compensation claims and investigations. Oversee readiness and training for Confined Space Rescue Team and equipment. Maintain readiness of health and safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE). Respond as needed to emergency spill events as part of the ALERT program. Support and promote our behavior-based safety program. Be available for on-call Health & Safety coverage, including weekends and overnight, as needed. Lead our musculoskeletal injury prevention and early intervention initiatives. What Success Looks Like
Continually audit and improve our safety culture. Help hold the organization accountable for all safety initiatives. Support continuous improvement of safety performance metrics (e.g., EMR, TRIR). Promote safety incentive programs to recognize and reward safe behaviors. Proactively collaborate with clients to enhance site safety performance. Champion efforts to reduce musculoskeletal injuries. Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in Health & Safety within the environmental or similar industry. Solid knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations. Strong understanding of industry best practices for health and safety. Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and commitment to quality work. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification or related training preferred. Experience with hazardous materials handling or chemistry is a plus. Valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements
Ability to see, hear, speak, and communicate clearly. Frequently sit, stand, walk (including on uneven terrain), reach, and grasp. Occasionally lift and carry up to 40 lbs; push/pull as needed. Dexterity to use a computer and related equipment. Ability to travel overnight for site visits, client meetings, or training. Physically able to participate in training sessions and site inspections. Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

Salary Description
$70,000 - $90,000
