You will play a key role in shaping our processes and culture while building a meaningful career with us. Responsibilities: Assist customers in resolving a variety of issues related to their Confluent deployments. Contribute to the development of processes as part of our dedicated team. Communicate with the Engineering team to provide real-time product feedback from customers. Improve product documentation and create informative knowledge base articles. Develop and review product demonstrations and internal tools. Collaborate closely with the Apache Kafka development team. What You Will Bring: A passion for learning about streaming data and becoming an expert in the Confluent Data Stream Platform. Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrated third-party software systems. Proficiency in Java or Scala. Experience in diagnosing and resolving customer issues effectively. Familiarity with Java, databases, cloud object stores, messaging systems, and cloud functions is a plus. A commitment to customer success through direct engagement. Required Experience: Two out of the following three areas: Experience troubleshooting applications on Linux (resource contention, network bottlenecks, etc.). Operational knowledge of Java applications (stack, jmap, etc.). Experience with at least one mainstream distributed system (e.g., Kafka, Kafka Connect, Spark, etc.).
