Job Details
- Hourly Rate: $58/hr
- Per Diem: None
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
- Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 40 hrs/week
Oversee the safety of the wall subcontractor on a new construction project. Duties include:
- Rigging
- Scissor lift operation
- Fall protection enforcement
- Work on stilts
- Boom lift and crane/hoist operation
- OSHA 510 (required)
- BCSP certification preferred (CHST, STSC, etc.)
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
- Conduct project safety inspections and new hire orientations
- Deliver site-specific safety training
- Monitor on-site personnel and enforce safety standards
- Manage safety documentation and contractor correspondence
- Execute additional EHS duties as needed
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication and public speaking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Effective organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
- Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
- In-depth understanding of EHS and construction industry regulations
- Ability to clearly communicate safety protocols and ensure compliance
