Lead Financial Operations for a Growing Real Estate Company
Our client, a well-established and respected player in the real estate industry, is seeking a
Controller
to join their team. With a diverse portfolio and a focus on strategic acquisitions, they offer an exciting opportunity for a financial leader looking to make a meaningful impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for a multi-property portfolio Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure compliance with financial regulations Manage transaction processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare corporate financial statements and reporting packages Implement and refine internal controls and financial processes Support year-end audits and regulatory reporting Guide and mentor accounting staff in daily operations Handle CAM reconciliations and ensure accuracy across property accounts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within property management Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
