This role involves developing and implementing electronic brake controls architecture and components for current and future braking systems. You will manage issues with critical suppliers related to function and feature development. As a System Integration Engineer IV, you will be the system expert for the scalable braking system platform (SBSP), ensuring successful integration into DTNA's CEEAce platforms. This role requires extensive global collaboration, travel, and the ability to test braking systems on public roads under various conditions. What You Drive At DTNA Develop complex vehicle braking components and systems, ensuring safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and competitiveness. Analyze and resolve validation and production issues proactively with creative solutions. Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure design conformance to specifications and regulations. Prioritize and successfully complete projects on time and within budget. Inform management of project issues, delays, and risks, providing expert recommendations. Implement continuous improvements in environment, tools, processes, costs, and quality. Perform Functional Safety analysis and ensure compliance with federal vehicle laws across countries. Travel for global design and testing, including international trips. Mentor junior engineers to enhance team capability. Knowledge You Should Bring Bachelor's degree + 5 years or 8+ years relevant experience. Feature development experience. Experience with engineering documentation systems. Proven leadership in resolving technical issues. Experience with executive presentations. Knowledge of DTNA engineering tools and systems. Product development experience. Familiarity with EDEX, EDLS, CANalyzer, Diagnostic Link. CDL holder or ability to obtain within 6 months. Preferred Qualifications Experience with pneumatic brake controls and subsystem design. Knowledge of FMVSS regulations. Experience with ABS, ESC, and EBS systems. Location & Schedule Portland, OR. No relocation assistance. Hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 remote). Additional Information Visa sponsorship limited to current DTNA employees. Legal work authorization required.
