We're looking for an independent, assertive, and efficient audiologist with strong core values to join our team. This is not your typical clinical role, there's no selling and no treatment planning. Instead, this position focuses on objective evaluations that contribute to assessing veteran disabilities.
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who works well independently and takes pride in doing things the right way. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, documenting results with precision, and submitting reports promptly. If you value autonomy, consistency, and purpose-driven work, this might be the perfect fit.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct air and bone conduction threshold measurements
Perform standard audiometric testing in compliance with state law
Obtain Speech Reception Thresholds (SRT)
Apply speech masking techniques appropriately
Interpret and coordinate audiological test results
Complete and submit evaluation reports within 48 hours
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
Clean criminal background
Exceptional computer skills, including electronic record-keeping proficiency
Proven reliability and consistent job history
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical practice
Able to work 2 days per week
