Job Title: Fundraiser
Location: On-Site, New Jersey
Role Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet established goals. Identify potential donors and funding sources through thorough research and networking efforts. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors. Create engaging fundraising campaigns, including events, online appeals, and direct mail initiatives. Collaborate with team members to organize and execute fundraising events and initiatives. Coordinate with marketing to create compelling promotional materials for fundraising activities. Develop program budgets and ensure compliance with financial guidelines. Prepare and deliver presentations to potential donors and community partners. Manage donor databases and track contributions and engagement levels effectively. Analyze fundraising performance data to enhance strategy and execution. Prepare grant proposals and applications to secure funding for specific projects and programs. Engage with community representatives and stakeholders to broaden reach and impact. Facilitate donor appreciation programs to acknowledge and reward contributions. Monitor industry trends and adjust fundraising approaches accordingly. Ensure all fundraising activities align with organizational values and mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in fundraising or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Sound knowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to meet fundraising targets and deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and principles. Willingness to travel as necessary for events and meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to engage and inspire others to contribute to the mission. Understanding of financial principles related to fundraising. Experience with social media and online fundraising platforms. Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
