Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated
Family & Matrimonial Law Attorney
to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling a broad range of family law and matrimonial cases, including high-net-worth divorce matters, custody disputes, spousal and child support, equitable distribution, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in family and matrimonial law matters including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child and spousal support, domestic violence, and property distribution. Handle high-conflict and high-asset cases with discretion and legal precision. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, and settlement agreements. Conduct discovery, prepare for trial, and appear in court and mediation as needed. Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients throughout their cases. Negotiate settlements and represent clients during mediation and other dispute resolution proceedings. Maintain detailed case files and regular client communication. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the state of California. Minimum of [1] year of experience in family and matrimonial law. Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills. Ability to handle complex financial and custody matters with confidence. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Empathetic, client-centered approach with a high level of professionalism. Competitive Base Salary
