Temple is seeking a dedicated and autonomous Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) team. This is a night-shift only role with a favorable 7-on / 14-off block schedule and no call responsibilities. The ACNP will play a critical role in the overnight care of high-acuity neuro ICU patients, including procedures, admissions, cross coverage, and team-based rounding with a nocturnal intensivist and house staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide autonomous, overnight clinical care to Neuro ICU patients Perform procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations Manage cross coverage within the Neuro ICU Handle ICU admissions during overnight hours Participate in rounding with nocturnal intensivist and house staff Preferred Qualifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification required 1+ years' experience in critical care, neurology, or ICU preferred New graduates with strong interest in neurocritical care are welcome Proficiency in ICU-level procedures is expected (or willingness to train) Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-acuity, team-based environment Why Baylor Scott & White

Qualifications: EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Practitioner (NP) Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer. Acute Care Nrs Pract Cert (ACNP-BC), Acute Care NP-A Gerontology (ACNPC-AG), Neonatal NP (NNP-BC): Must have one of the following: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ACNP-BC) Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ACNPC-AG) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (NNP-BC).
