Job Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled cryptologic computer scientist to perform access discovery and enablement using various computer science methods, including automation and scripting using Python in Jupyter Notebooks that they create. Familiarity with XKS and DX is required; experience with C++ is a plus but not mandatory. The Level 2 Cryptologic Computer Scientist shall possess the following capabilities: Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. The solutions may include forensics, attack attribution, network protection, system warnings, active penetration, and knowledge discovery supporting cryptologic missions. Apply computer science skills such as operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithms, computer architecture, discrete math, programming languages, and data structures to solve problems using state-of-the-art techniques. Qualifications Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience Degrees must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, with at least one programming course and four upper-level math classes (Calculus or higher). Relevant experience includes theoretical or applied computer science, modeling, algorithm development, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer systems. Experience with XKS and DX, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks is required. Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph is also required. Additional Information Pay Range: $125,000 - $185,000.
