KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering within our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity. Responsibilities: Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security strategy; create and implement comprehensive security plans for GCP and Workbench, aligning with firm goals and addressing evolving threats. Support security operations and incident response with expertise in GCP, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation; review security configurations and ensure strong monitoring. Oversee integration of GCP and Workbench security tooling, automations, and processes to establish a unified security monitoring and response system. Stay current with cybersecurity practices and technologies; mentor security team members; lead knowledge-sharing sessions; provide thought leadership in security monitoring and incident response with GCP. Drive automation and orchestration to enhance security processes; document procedures via playbooks and reference guides. Build and maintain relationships with internal technology teams and vendors to ensure strategy alignment; promote collaboration and standardization; serve as a subject matter expert. Qualifications: Minimum of eight years' recent experience in security architecture, with specialization in GCP and security tooling integration; deep technical expertise, including incident response. Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer preferred. Experience leading security projects and resources; familiarity with security standards and regulations like NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA. Ability to influence in a matrixed environment; develop resource and project plans, estimations, and budgets. Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to lead and set goals within a team environment. Ability to foster high-performance teams and interface across organizational levels.
