Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with experience in mission compliance and SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) policy to support complex national security systems. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance requirements, policy interpretation, and technical implementation to ensure system solutions align with mission objectives and legal frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies. Knowledge of data governance, data tagging, and cross-domain solutions. Experience supporting operational SIGINT missions or analysis teams.
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with experience in mission compliance and SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) policy to support complex national security systems. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance requirements, policy interpretation, and technical implementation to ensure system solutions align with mission objectives and legal frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical advisor on SIGINT policy compliance, ensuring systems adhere to national and agency-specific regulations and directives.
- Collaborate with mission stakeholders, policy experts, and engineering teams to translate policy into actionable system requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, traceability matrices, and risk assessments.
- Conduct systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture, and lifecycle planning with a focus on mission assurance.
- Support the accreditation and authorization processes by producing system documentation and evidence of compliance.
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks in system design and operations.
- Stay current on evolving SIGINT and mission policy developments and advise on their impact to ongoing or future engineering efforts.
- MUST have and maintain and Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph (FSP)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within the defense or intelligence community.
- Strong understanding of SIGINT systems and associated compliance and legal frameworks (e.g., EO 12333, ICDs, NSA/CSS policies).
- Demonstrated experience aligning system development with mission compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF) and system security engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
