About this Role: We seek an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer/Architect Lead with expertise in AI/Automation to lead cybersecurity initiatives for federal clients. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining security architectures, leveraging machine learning (ML) and automation to improve threat detection and response. Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture design and management. Develop AI-driven security solutions for threat detection and vulnerability management. Oversee security operations, incident response, and recovery, utilizing automation. Manage deployment and maintenance of security tools like SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, and cloud security solutions. Implement zero-trust security frameworks across systems and cloud environments. Lead threat hunting using analytics, ML models, and behavioral analysis. Develop automated response capabilities for threats. Maintain security policies, procedures, and standards incorporating AI and automation. Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and threat modeling. Collaborate with stakeholders to align security architecture with business and federal requirements. Evaluate and select security tools and AI platforms. Manage and mentor cybersecurity engineers. Create security documentation, diagrams, and compliance reports. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related. 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering roles. 5+ years in security architecture and leadership. 3+ years implementing AI/ML in cybersecurity. Experience with federal cybersecurity environments and compliance. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS). Deep experience with security automation platforms and AI detection tools. Proficiency in network, cloud, and endpoint security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms. Knowledge of DevSecOps, attack surface analysis, and security controls. Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Understanding of FedRAMP, CMMC, FISMA. Strong documentation and leadership skills. Desired Skills and Competencies: Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Security, CCSP. Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Knowledge of container security and zero trust architecture. Experience with blockchain security and federal cybersecurity operations. Strong communication skills and experience in defense roles. Additional Information: This position is remote . Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
