Primary Duties: Conduct comprehensive evaluation services by reviewing historical information, performing specific assessments, and documenting results. Engage with patients and families by explaining findings and collaboratively setting goals. Implement treatment protocols effectively based on evaluation findings and patient presentations. Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary, and adjust care plans according to changes in the patient's condition. Ensure thorough discharge planning and follow-up care. Document patient care activities accurately, including initial evaluations, encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations. Exhibit strong time management skills and uphold productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule. Show professional commitment to facilitating patient access to care with empathy and adaptability. Pursue continuing education actively to foster professional growth for yourself and the organization. Mentor new staff, students, and volunteers, contributing to their orientation and professional development. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY). Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, and potentially in the District of Columbia (DC) or Virginia based on specific job location. American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence. This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
