Job Opportunity At Alltown Bus Service
Provide safe and dependable transportation for school children on a daily basis. Duties include but are not limited to: Transporting children and other passengers to and from school Obeying all traffic laws Maintaining a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times Ensuring the safety of all students Performing inspections of the bus before and after each route Attending safety meetings as required Having a clean driving record Must be 21 years or older Benefits Include Starting rate $19.00 Monthly and quarterly attendance bonus Vacation Pay Seven Paid Holidays Responsibilities Include Valid Non-CDL Driver's License Transporting clients to and from destinations Arriving at destinations on schedule Fulfilling administrative needs, like office pickups Researching and planning for traffic, construction, and weather delays Using navigation applications to determine the best route Always interacting with clients professionally Ensuring that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use Arranging for vehicle repairs as needed Keeping mileage records and repair records up to date Performing other duties as assigned Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Alltown operates a fleet of over 600 buses across six locations, three of which are located on Chicago's north, west, and south sides. The size and presence of Alltown and DHT in Detroit and across metro Chicago allows us to provide personal attention to our customers' individual needs; our motto is "Service Is All We Have to Sell" and we take great pride in having earned the reputation of providing excellent customer service to all of our passengers and customers.
