Be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the future of smart manufacturing.\ The Role We’re seeking a Manufacturing Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of IIoT and industrial data platforms that support plant telemetry, process automation, and edge data processing. You will architect cloud-native data lakes (Snowflake, AWS) and integrate real-time machine and sensor data into centralized systems for predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and enterprise analytics. In this role, you’ll define architectural standards, data modeling frameworks, and edge-to-cloud integration strategies while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 goals. What You'll Bring 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments Proven experience building and scaling IIoT or industrial data lakes on AWS, Snowflake, or Azure Hands-on knowledge of plant telemetry, process data, and edge processing tools and frameworks Experience integrating MES, SCADA, and ERP systems into enterprise data platforms Proficiency with IIoT toolsets and protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC-UA, Azure IoT, AWS IoT Core) Strong background in data modeling, governance, and real-time data ingestion and transformation Familiarity with Medallion or Data Vault architecture and modern lakehouse patterns Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of secure data design principles Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Preferred Qualifications Experience with Industry 4.0, digital twins, and smart manufacturing. Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and continuous improvement. Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or data architecture frameworks.
