Job Summary
We are looking for a
Data Analyst Network Automation
to join our
Network Automation Team
in either Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically skilled, and passionate about data integrity and automation. This role blends data analysis, engineering, and network operations to ensure our network infrastructure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, test, and maintain robust and scalable Python data pipelines to ingest and process data from sources like network scanning tools, device APIs, and CMDBs. Data Quality and Remediation: Implement validation logic to identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and errors in our IPAM and network asset databases. Automation: Engineer end-to-end automated remediation workflows that detect and correct data issues with minimal manual intervention. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze clean network data to surface trends in utilization, asset lifecycle, and capacity planning. Systems Integration: Use REST APIs and other interfaces to pull/push data from and to systems like IPAM and CMDB. Collaboration: Work closely with Network Engineers, the Automation Team, and IT Operations to understand requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions. Documentation: Create clear, maintainable documentation for pipelines, models, and automated processes.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 3+ years in a data-centric role such as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Automation Engineer. Skills: Strong proficiency in Python (especially Pandas, NumPy, Requests). Proficient in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines from scratch. Solid understanding of IP addressing, subnets, DNS, DHCP, VLANs. Hands-on experience with IPAM systems and network asset management. Familiarity with data quality, governance, and cleansing concepts. Excellent problem-solving and independent analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IT or network-focused environments. Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Nornir). Experience building dashboards with tools like Power BI, Grafana, or Tableau. Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments. Experience using Git or other version control systems. Seniority level
