Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst I to support cybersecurity analysis, risk assessment and validation of systems within a federal government contracting environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in cybersecurity while contributing to the protection of critical government systems and data. The analyst will assist in analyzing, evaluating, and validating system implementation in accordance with federal cybersecurity frameworks and contract requirements.
Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA, RMF). Understanding of networking, operating systems, and security tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment. Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the PCI Federal Personnel Policies and Procedures. Preferred Qualifications:
Active Level I certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC) or ability to obtain them. Experience with network and analysis tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Tenable Nessus, or CrowdStrike. Internship or prior experience in IT or cybersecurity. Familiarity with STIGs, SCAP, and other federal hardening standards. Clearance or ability to obtain one.
